Annual Savour Food & Wine Festival Promotes Nova Scotian Products

This winter, food and wine enthusiasts will be able to experience everything Nova Scotia's diverse dining scene has to offer - and it's all under one roof at the Savour Food & Wine Show.

The month-long Savour Food & Wine Festival climaxes on March 1 with the Savour Food & Wine Show. From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., The Westin Nova Scotian Hotel will be transformed into a food and wine metropolis showcasing the best of Nova Scotia's taste sensations. Sip your favorite martini, wine or beer while sampling food from over 40 of Nova Scotia's finest restaurants.

Tickets for the fourth annual Savour Food & Wine Show are on sale now for $69 (tax included). Gordon Stewart, Executive Director of the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS), confirms that Savour tickets are a hot commodity, "Last year 850 people came to Savour. For the past two years tickets have sold out. We have already had several attendees from previous years calling about tickets…they make a great Christmas present."

Throughout the month of February, restaurant and industry suppliers across the province will host a variety of food and wine related activities. Wine and cheese tastings, beer seminars, pasta making, cooking lessons and a jazz brunch are just a few events to look forward to during the Savour Food & Wine Festival.

Savour tickets are available directly from RANS by clicking the Savour logo on www.eDining.ca. Tickets are also available at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, by phone (902) 451-1221, online at www.ticketatlantic.com or at all participating Atlantic Superstores.
